With a more subdued offshore breeze in comparison to yesterday it gave the teams a chance to settle into their strides and get a bit more comfortable around the track. None did this better than the father son duo of Pete and Bailey taking out 3 of 4 races and in doing so bumping them to the top of the leaderboard. The rest of the fleet had their moments to shine but just couldn’t keep their bows in front. Mal and Mick managed consistent results, and secured the bullet in the last race of the day, outfoxing Skewesy on the start line.

The Wildcat class maintained close racing throughout the day, with positions changing frequently, and not much space between boats at any given time. Even first-time Wildcat crew Jake and Alannah were nipping at the heels of the fleet in all four races.

The Tigers had great racing - with wins going to Danny/Craig, Kerrie/Andrew and Peter/Stefan.  Team WA managed to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory on a few occasions, surrendering the race lead as the pressure dropped.  The points are close - the Drivers and Gerro boys are on equal points, and the locals are just a few points ahead
